The Grove

Excitement is building in the golfing world as The Grove, a Greg Norman golf course, has been officially announced as one of the twelve regular season event stops for the highly anticipated LIV Golf League in 2024. Golf enthusiasts can mark their calendars for June 21st to June 23rd, when The Grove’s course will host top-notch players and thrilling competition. Unveiling the Schedule The announcement came on November 22nd when the league unveiled its schedule for the 2024 season. The LIV Golf League, known for its global reach, will feature its first 12 regular season events across eight different countries. This season promises to bring the sport to both new and familiar markets around the world. Greg Norman, the Commissioner and CEO of LIV Golf, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating on the LIV website, “LIV Golf is the truly global golf league that the sport and its fans deserve. We’re thrilled to announce an exciting slate of events that reflects our commitment to bringing world-class players and premier competition to new and repeat markets every year.” LIV Golf League’s Rapid Rise The LIV Golf League, launched in 2022, has quickly gained traction in the golfing community. Financed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the league has two-time British Open champion Greg Norman as its public face. The name “LIV” is a nod to the number of holes (54) played at LIV events, offering a unique and dynamic approach to the traditional 18-hole format. Top Players, New Venues, and Global Presence The 2024 regular season schedule promises to bring some of the top players in professional golf to new and exciting venues. According to LIV Golf, the notable participants include 2023 Individual Champion Talor Gooch, 2020 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, five-time major champion Brooks Koepka, World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson, and many more. With events spanning the globe, LIV Golf continues to fulfill its goal of creating a worldwide league that inspires progress and attracts new fans to the sport. Norman is confident that the upcoming season will not only meet but exceed these objectives, building on the success of the league’s first full season in 2023.
